Heh, yeah. Especially when you consider that the above group mostly
consists of people whose interaction with their boat consists of

a) Turn the engine on;
b) Go fishing;
c) Call SeaTow and the mechanic when it breaks;
d) Repeat a-c until broke (or sunk)

Wouldn't have believed it myself, but met *lots* of people in that group
during the past year... Just helped a guy - well, to whatever degree he
could be helped - who had bought his boat two years ago and still didn't
know where his bilge pump was (or how to turn it on - of even if he had
one.  He did, but it was dead.)

Nice system design. *Very* nice, when you think about keeping track of
exactly what's happening with the engine during those critical first
seconds. You have an oil primer pump, too - I'm jealous. :) Expensive
buggers, those.

Given the way your engine works, those annunciators sound like they
would be perfect. For the more common setup, your amber light/alarm
switch seems like the best bet.
