I ran the disable command and received this response. Removed "/etc/systemd/system/multi-user.target.wants/snapd.service". Disabling 'snapd.service', but its triggering units are still active: snapd.socket
The splash screen still freezes on shutdown. Would that suggest that snapd is not the problem, or alternatively that I need to do something more vigorous to snapd than "disable"? Please see this folder for both the original Esc message behind the splash screen and the current one. https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fo/u62xomax8wtp13yqrqnt2/AIOseTuGV2IzjirokH4L4LA?rlkey=rud63a1yvqvjt8ymlj8ue5b8q&st=bb52npx0&dl=0
