Except for the very first post, this entire thread has been about other people's experiences with Packt and why they're best avoided. My post was a continuation of that thread, not an assessment of the original post. Since this is being advertised as a means to support LMMS development financially, it seems important to manage expectations, of both the project participants and other people who might later be approached by Packt and think to themselves, "Hey, they said they were going to do something nice for LMMS, so I ought to write a book and give it to them for the promise of eventual royalties." > If you don't like his email, then ignore it. I look forward to seeing how many people who get "free" copies of this book leave reviews that aren't fawning.
