Paper-based is highly convenient is third world countries and even some supposedly first-world countries like here in South Africa. With paper-based there is no requirement to make a large number of secure and audited machines available. You just need a room and a desk and a pencil > > Some of these disadvantages don't apply to paper exams that are held > > under the auspices of the LPI-AAP program, where LPI arranges for a > > »proctor« to come to the partner's location to deliver the exams, but > > Never have heard of this possibility. Interesting. This works very well if a single company has a number of engineers that will all write at the same time. The exam can be done on the premises using a training room that a largish company will invariably have available. I believe this is done extensively in Japan. -- alan dot mckinnon at gmail dot com _______________________________________________ lpi-discuss mailing list [email protected] http://list.lpi.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/lpi-discuss
