That didn't work. Actually it took longer because the cache setting went
back. (it is about a 4 minute difference but still 25 minutes..) It is
also impractical in our production environment since we have ~60 of them
in various locations acrossed campus.

I think we have all updated firmware on these or pretty close.

While we are on HP commands. Is there a way to cancel a job that is
currently printing on the queue remotely? lprm doesn't seem to remove the
job from the printer IF it has already been sent. (the latest lprn/ifhp
stuff.) When I increased the IO buffer size, the job runs through ifhp but
it is stuck on the queue, even if I use the lprm command. (unless of
course I am using it wrong..)
