My observations on this problem when it surfaced here: - HP printers are worst for this. Any other printers we've dealt with will CRASH and require a power-cycle. Typically less often than what our old HP 8000/8100's would experience. These other printers had/have genuine Adobe PostScript interpreters. - Turning the HP printer off and back on may allow you to print that same PDF document. I suspect some sort of memory leak in the PS emulation/interpreter, but I haven't been able to find a particular job that would consistently cause such problems. ============================================================================ John Perkins | University of Wisconsin-Madison Associate Researcher | Department of Computer Science [EMAIL PROTECTED] | 1210 W.
