I just got this card working. It is designed to use flash rom. You need to do
the following steps:

1.) Before using the NIC with bootrom for the first time you need to boot once
from diskette to fix a bug of the NIC. The disk cannot be optained from rom-o-
matic, you need to compile it from the etherboot package with option
-DCFG_3C90X_BOOTROM_FIX.
If desired, i can send you the compiled diskette-image. You may ask for it by
PM.

2.) Use Flash ROM AT29C010-90 PC (DIL-32); I bought it from Reichelt
Elektronik. (http://www.reichelt.de)

3.) The Flash ROM can be programmed while mounted on the card. An eprom
programmer is not needed. Use the Linux program 3c90xutil/bromutil for this.
You will find it in the etherboot package.
