If you really need something thatt works exactly like Microsoft Windows, then
you probably need Microsoft Windows.

Having said that, youtube works fine for me with Centos 5 and Fedora 8.  (Both
x86_64 versions, by the way.)

Each Centos release is supported for years.  Set-and-forget.
