Gaming would really help the internet cafe's get a steady stream of business. I would not want my gaming machines to be used as regular internet PCs. They would be in a separate controlled environment. But LAN gaming is a great idea. There are a number of Linux games that can be setup but not nearly as many as PC or even MAC. I think my blackberry may have more native games than linux does. But software like Playonlinux, Wine and Cedega can get most PC games running great on Linux. There are a number of games that I play using Wine. Do internet cafes use $10,000 gaming computers or do they try and run games on $1500 computers? Or are they running xbox360s and ps3s? I find this device interesting, but i don't think it will ever make it to the US:
