You can only make money distributing Ubuntu if you obey the license
conditions of the copyright holders. This is very important, as
copyright law is at the very heart of the GPL.

Similarly you can only make money from music if you obey the license
conditions of the copyright holders. I think you will find that nearly
all music has a license condition that prevents distribution or
performance of that music unless a royalty is paid to the copyright holder.

IANAL so I cannot comment on the position re Ugandan law, IMHO however,
it cannot be morally justified to steal another persons copyrighted
material in order to make money out of it.
