My understanding was a political party is made up of Tom, Dick and
Harry, together read as 'The public', then i saw this and your
response left me stumped....
"What the site does is it lets each and every african man or woman
with a mobile phone in ANY african country report the election results
at their polling station at the end of voting. The site then tally's
up the results using various techniques."
But I digress
The gist of my submission is whoever inputs the data has to do so
truthfully.
if you prefer someone named "Political Party" Or Jack Daniels that's
another matter.
At the end of the day the site aims to address rigging by wrongful
tallying of votes if "Political Party" or "Jack Daniels can still
enter inflated results then.....?
I do maintain the site is a brilliant concpet whose excellence can be
measured by the accuracy of the Data input.
Cheers

Daniel,
you probably need to read this link and understand how its intended
to be used
http://www.turnkeylinux.org/forum/general/20110123/election-result-verification-tool
(Any political party on the continent of Africa (but also world wide
as well) only needs a 3rd year University IT/Computer Science
student to get it set up for you.)
i dont think its designed to allow every tom dick and harry to input
the data,
The developers made it in such a way that it can be used by a
political party, and the political party would enforce QA / QC
controls
you probably think, that its intended for the general public, in
that way, many people would enter data for the same polling station,
plus other problems,
its important to read a thread in its entirety and understand it
before posting
