The productivity gain trough M$ Office over libre office seldom justifys the 
prize. Most users barely notice the difference.

But beside this there ideed exist some applications that justify to use 
something else then Linux, sometimes even Windows.

That why we use apache on Linux and sendmail on Solaris and not IIS or 
Exchange on Windows.
