Well that's certainly one way to go. I looked into this a year or more ago and was put off by the prices, and my needs didn't require such a powerful connection. I'm thinking more along the lines of something that would be able to supply the barest minimum, like sending e-mail. Web browsing wouldn't be overly necessary, as I could just employ a text only browser like Wannabe, or something a little stronger like iCab.
