My mother has asked my wife to design a website (using a web space provider, not our server) and will pay her to do so. We're trying to figure out a fair price to charge her for the setup time. My wife isn't a professional web designer or anything, and this is for family. Anyone out there do freelance web design? What do you charge for basic html and installing a prefab php forum? We need to figure cost of setup, as well as occasional modifications. Possibly some minor graphic design. What's the going rate?
