MaryKaye:

When I originally had Insight's cable modem installed, the installer did the
setup on my computer. Did that not happen in your case?

If you need help getting it working, I'm sure there are several of us here
who can tell you setting to use.

A couple of points you might want to clear up:

1. Do you need help with the physical setup -- the modem and the cables and
how they connect?

2. Or do you need help with the software control panel settings that will
allow you to connect?

I suspect the latter is the case, in which case, you will want to open up
your TCP/IP control panel, write down all the settings there so you can let
us know what they are. That is probably where any changes will have to be
made.

3. Your cable modem should have several lights on the front of it. One of
them probably is labeled "cable". It should be on solid all the time and not
flashing. Is that the case?

We are standing by, ready to help.
