I need help trying to empty the trash. In making a copy of some files I found that I couldn't copy them to the firewire drive, saying that "code3dig" was busy. I had no idea what that was, so to find out I made a copy of the entire folder, then put the original in the trash and emptied. Ahhhh, I couldn't empty several of the files, "code3dig" was busy.
It seems that an old forms design program "Informed" (That I have not used in years) has a font by the name of code3Dig that is in the Sample Bar Code Fonts. Now this has never appeared before, I have made copies of that folder forever but now somehow this bar code font is active. I have tried everything I can think of to empty the trash. I have completely gotten rid of all the Informed folders, backup folders, etc. and according to Spotlight the only "Informed" items on the machine are in the trash, but I can't empty. Years ago you could hold down on a key combination and start with just the bare extensions, and often this would allow you to do what was needed, but I don't know how to either "quit" the font, or override the stopping of the emptying. Any help on how to do this would sure be appreciated, many thanks.
