Remember back in 1990 when the Hubble space telescope was launched with a 
flawed mirror? These techniques were developed by NASA astronomers and 
mathematicians way back then to un-blur the Hubble images. If you're 
interested, it involves an integral transform called deconvolution. I’m 
surprised nobody developed a Photoshop plugin for it long ago.
