My two cents on all this: We had TWC — or its predecessor, Insight — for about five years, then we switched to AT&T Uverse about three years ago, mainly for cost savings. After two years of dropped internet service, slow, often-pixelated TV streams and constant router resetting, we switched back to TWC about a year ago. TWC internet and TV speed and reliability has been much better. We are paying about the same amount to TWC as we did to AT&T. Yes, still too much, but at least we’re getting better results. And we actually have had good service experiences both with the person who installed and another who came back to troubleshoot an issue, and in a cable box exchange we did at the TWC store.
This fiber thing may change the equation when/if it comes to your neighborhood, but until that happens I’m sticking with TWC/Spectrum. Dan
