So I have been reading the documents diligently and have been going through
the details of the INI Configuration
<http://www.machinekit.io/docs/config/ini_config/> page in the documents.
My first comment is that a whole bunch of links that are supposed to lead
to other pages just point back at themselves. Links like pyVCP with Axis
<http://www.machinekit.io/docs/config/ini_config/#sec:pyvcp-with-axis> and  HAL
User Interface
<http://www.machinekit.io/docs/config/ini_config/#cha:hal-user-interface> .
One possibility is that they point to sections that have not been created
or have been removed. Anyway.
Looking in the .ini file examples that come with machinekit I found a
section that is not explained in the ini configuration page. it is like
this:
[PRUCONF]
DRIVER=hal_pru_generic
CONFIG=pru=1 num_stepgens=5 num_pwmgens=3
PRUBIN=xenomai/pru_generic.bin
in a number of example files. There is nothing in the sim examples either.
So far I have:
[HOSTMOT2]
# **** This is for info only ****
DRIVER=hal_gpio
# BOARD0=5i25
in my ini file based on what I can make from the example files and the
gypsy.ini I first saw the SCARA kins in.
Is there anywhere that explains how to call these driver files correctly?
