Shouldn't you have somewhere loaded the motion component? I mean the 

# loadrt [EMCMOT]EMCMOT servo_period_nsec=[EMCMOT]SERVO_PERIOD 
num_joints=[TRAJ]AXES tp=tp kins=scarakins

line in your HAL code. (But then, maybe you are doing it somehow 
differently.)
