Well, I meant why did you remove it from the template you say you are using? I was going by that you are trying to load it somehow else and are getting bitten by synchronization. (As Luminize said, these is no CNC without motion component.)
And yes, the documentation is not okay. I have been meaning to try my hand at upgrading it but so far no such luck (and there is a lot I also do not understand.) C.
