Cameron,
Who, me kidding? Not on your life. I couldn't be more serious.
I know all about Canada's Charter of Rights and Freedoms, and, yes, it does
guarantee that every Canadian (as well as non-Canadian residents of Canada) has
the right to enjoy life free of discrimination. I for one do not suggest that
Marc Hall or any other person should be denied the right to the freedoms
guaranteed by the Charter. The problem here is that the case of Marc Hall and
the school prom IS NOT A CASE OF DISCRIMINATION. Some people, like Marc, his
boyfriend, his lawyer, the judge, and others like you have decided to put your
own interpretation on the matter and call it discrimination, because that is the
only way that the case could be won in the courts.
The school and the school board involved in this matter wished only to
uphold their policies (both written and unwritten) that are based on the moral
values of their Catholic faith. The spokesperson for the school board stated
publicly, on national television, that the board recognizes Marc Hall's right to
choose and practice his homosexual lifestyle, but they did not want him to
attend the school prom with a male partner because of the perception that it
would be condoning and promoting that lifestyle.
As for your comment relative to the recent events in Boston and NYC,
Catholics the world over need to be more outspoken (rather than careful) when
commenting on sexual character, and also in condemning the despicable acts of
paedophilia, child molestation, child pornography, homosexuality, rape, etc.
committed by priests, brothers, and other members of the Catholic faith. The
same should be said about people of other religious beliefs, as well as those
who profess no religious beliefs. What disturbs me about your comment is the
apparent narrowminded attitude or belief that because there are a few rotten
members of the Catholic Church, the whole Catholic Church is rotten.
You asked the question: "Do you really think that a young gay male really
chooses his sexual orientation?" My answer to that is: I don't "think" so; I
"believe" so. I also believe that your question suggests that you believe the
garbage promulgated by several fagots who claim that they were born that way.
And, by the way, Cameron, just as you have the right to be politically correct
and refer to homosexuals as gays, I also have the right to use whatever word or
phrase I choose by which to refer to them, and political correctness be
damned.
Finally, as for my comments being "no different than the filth spewed out
by the KKK," and labelling me as a bigot, I believe, without my saying it, that
you know what you can do with your comment.
P.S. If Marc Hall gets lucky tonight, maybe he'll get AIDS.

You've GOT to be kidding.
See, in Canada, we have this thing called the Charter of Rights and
Freedoms, maybe you've heard of it? It's this little piece of
law that guarantees that every Canadian has the right to enjoy life free
of discrimination. That applies to people of colour, people of native
ancestry, people of religions other than your own, and people of differering
sexual orientation.
Given the events in Boston and NYC as of late, I would think that
Catholics the world over might think to be a little more careful when
commenting on sexual character. It's a pretty black kettle at the end of
the day.
Besides, do you really think that a young gay male really chooses his
sexual orientation? Do you think it's easy being a young gay male in a
Catholic high school? Comments like those below label you as a bigot,
Dave, and are no different than the filth spewed out by the KKK.
unapologetically,
..Cameron
PS. I hope Marc Hall gets laid tonight.

AND JUST WAIT UNTIL I GET WOUND UP ABOUT THE @#$%-ing FAGOT WHO WILL BE
TAKING HIS @#$%-ing FAGOT FRIEND TO HIS SCHOOL PROM TONIGHT BECAUSE SOME
@#$%-ing JUDGE (OF QUESTIONABLE JUDGEMENTAL, MORAL AND SEXUAL CHARACTER)
SAID THAT THE SCHOOL BOARD AND THE SCHOOL HAS TO ALLOW IT.
THERE'S 3 MORE APPROPRIATE USES OF THE "F" WORD.

LAST TIME I HEARD, THERE WAS ABOUT $700,000,000 WRONG WITH IT, NOT TO
MENTION THAT IT HAS DONE @#$%-ALL TO KEEP GUNS OUT OF THE HANDS OF
CRIMINALS.
HEY!, WITHOUT EVEN TRYING, I JUST CAME UP WITH ANOTHER APPROPRIATE
USE OF THE "F" WORD.

WAY TO GO DAVID. I just knew
I could count on you. Of couse, you are @#$% Right. The
nerve of the add prompted me to send it out. People just fall
for this type of s__t. and merely go along because they don't bother
to become involved. eg.. Look at the mess of our
"gun control" legislation. (THERE!!!. Now I feel
better) Don.

Two more occasions when use of the "F" word is most
appropriate:
1. At $1.50/hr over the first 20 hours
for internet access with MSN, it would take merely 8 hours and
2 minutes (costing $12.05) to bring your monthly internet
access cost to $22.00 (for a total access time of 28 hours and
2 minutes, or a per-hour cost of $0.785). For $22.00/month,
there are numerous internet service providers (ISP's) that
will provide you with unlimited internet access. That's an
average of 730 hours/month, if you leave your computer logged
on to the internet for the entire month. Let's say you log on
to the internet for a measly 2 hr/day. That would give you an
average monthly usage of 60.8 hours, and a per-hour cost of
$0.362. If you crunch the numbers I've given you above, you
will see that, with an unlimited access ISP, your
internet access cost can be as low as
$0.03/hour. Therefore, why the @#$% would I even consider
signing on with MSN as my internet service provider?
2. Why the @#$% would I want to
put even 1 more penny into Bill Gates' pocket?
