I have static IPs since I wanted to do some port blocking on one machine. DCHP vs static IP shouldn't cause a problem but then the machines aren't asking for an IP address. Hmmm... I can try DHCP when I get home to see if that changes things. In the TCP/IP control panel, under options, I have TCP/IP set to active all of the time.
