I can connect fine... the problem is that I can't seem to control the
dial-on-demand feature. If I can get a dial-up session, I can authenticate.

Last night I turned on the router and the modem, nothing else... the modem
dialed up and connected. Why is the router requesting a dialup when there
was no network activity of any kind?

If I had the computer(s) on and connected to the router, then I turned on
the modem, I can't get the router to request a dial-up no matter what I do.
I can launch Netscape, email, whatever and there is no request for a dial-up
from the router.

I have to log into the router and manually select the connect button on the
modem setup page.

What do you have your DNS configured for in your TCP/IP control panel? I
set mine ot the router's address as suggested in one if the manuals.

Thanks for your help.
