Only OS X 10.4 "Tiger". This only supports connections over AppleShare
IP, limiting clients to MacOS 9.x.

OS 9 was the first that shipped with AppleShare over IP (ASIP) server.

Um? AFAIK, Apple did NOT ship any of ASIP server with OS 9. They simply included a licensed vers of Open Door's ShareWay IP product, which adds the IP support to the existing AFP module. That same product may be purchased for use on OS 8.

That's why I said ASIP server, not ASIP Server Software.
