i certainly didn't assume that; my complaint is the layering of incongruous, incomplete paradigms; i would love an OO filesystem (a real deprecation of the H in HFS), though i recognize it would have to be implemented as a compatibility layer, but i would want it to be a complete layer, not just a layer here for apps, another layer here for metadata, and other layers for dealing with media objects, etc.
