Hi,

I'd first confirm in your Mail Preferences that there aren't any rules 
automatically moving messages elsewhere, both in the Junk pane and in the Rules 
pane.  Also, make sure that your Cursor Tracking is not accidentally turned off 
as that can cause very frustrating issues.  Beyond that, you should Interact 
with the Mailboxes list if it is visible, navigate to the InBox section of that 
list and to the mail account you wish to check, press VO-cmd-f5 to route the 
mouse to the VO location, press VO-shift-space to perform a virtual 
mouse-click, then try to navigate over to the Messages table with VO-j or any 
other method that works for you.  If there are still no messages appearing, let 
us know and include details of your process similar to your original post.
