I haven’t used Fantastical in a very long time and purchased it a couple of years ago. I used to get to Fantastical via launch pad from the doc. Also, in settings there is a option to set up a hot key to open fantastical. One more thing is that if you lose focus on the app, you can find it via the application chooser by using vo keys plus F1 or vo plus FN plus f1 twice.
