I’ve just recently got the apple tv4k and I gotta admit I’m not a fan of it’s interfaces. It seems to be slower than the aTV 4gen But IOS 11 seems to be really screwy It doesn’t like moving between contents within apps, and It seems to want me to double click on things rather than the old single click on a show for streaming.
As for accessing my content it definitely is slower but that may be server related. For example my Windows machine and my Mac. Generally this gets resolves after time but it may take a day for the machines to catch upwith each other. I have speculated that this slow response may be a symptom of the Apple Servers struggling. Maybe 24 hours will sort it.
