Hi,

It sounds like a network glitch of some sort. There’s no issue with the Zoom
app on the Mac related to this sort of thing that I’m aware of. Make sure that
your Zoom app is up-to-date by opening the app, VO-m to the menubar, right to
Zoom, then down to Check for Updates. The most current version is 5.05. Also,
I suggest that you restart your Mac. It is possible that if you were receiving
incoming FaceTime calls etc, this might affect the audio. You may wish to
enable “do Not Disturb” while you’re on the Zoom session. You can do this by
pressing VO-m-m, then VO-right to the Notification Centre, interact with the
Notifications table and navigate to the first item in this table. It should
have Do Not Disturb as an item. Interact with this item, and VO-space on the
“Off” switch to toggle it to “On”.

Later…

Hi All.

Today I had a zoom meeting and my audio kept cutting out. Also when I turned
off voice over, the sound of the other person would disappear although they
could hear me. Does anyone know what is going on as I had a zoom meeting
yesterday and nothing like this happened.

Tomorrow I’ll have to use my windows tablet as I can’t use my Mac until this
problem is sorted.

Hope someone can help.

Thanks.

Kawal.
