Yes, but the settings that are cuasing the problem will get resored right along 
with everything else. Resetting settings is not something I've done before, so 
I don't know if it wipes out mail, calendars, and the rest. Still, calendars, 
contacts, reminders, and all that (once set to iCloud) should load from iCloud 
automatically. Yes, some re-configuration will be required, but it's not 
terrible, especially if you can get your hands on an external keyboard.
