 I got an Acer laptop with (lspci):

 0000:00:0b.0 Ethernet controller: Atheros Communications, Inc.: Unknown
 device 001a (rev 01)

 and kernel linux-2.6.15.1

 My problem is that when i boot Gentoo after a Windows session the madwifi
 driver works very well
 but if i directly boot Gentoo (which is in 99% of case) the modules are
 regulary loaded, but i got this from dmesg:

 ath_hal: 0.9.16.13 (AR5210, AR5211, AR5212, RF5111, RF5112, RF2413,
 RF5413, DFS)

 wlan: 0.8.4.2 (svn 1440)

 ath_rate_sample: 1.2 (svn 1440)

 ath_pci: 0.9.4.5 (svn 1440)

 ACPI: PCI Interrupt 0000:00:0b.0[A] -> GSI 17 (level, low) -> IRQ 22

 wifi%d: unable to attach hardware: 'Hardware revision not supported' (HAL
 status 13)

 ACPI: PCI interrupt for device 0000:00:0b.0 disabled

 I don't know how to solve this problem
