I have noticed the same problem. It doesn't depend on chipset. I have used
ar5213 and ar5414 based cards.
Your athstats looks very similar to mine and there is one interesting
thing I would like you to check. Antenna profile on your athstats shows
that even you have configured deversity off and statically defined
rx/txantenna to 1 it tries to use rxantenna 2 for some reason.
Could you check, while making some throughput, if
/proc/sys/dev/wifiX/rxantenna setting changes on fly from 1 to 2. This
happens quite often with ar5414 based card and bit rarely with ar5213
based card with my setup.
One weird thing is that this happens only with wlan1 if I have two wlan-
interfaces. wlan0 works just fine.
