 I can also confirm this bug, along with other Ubuntu users (https
 ://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/66481 and http
 ://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=305491).

 I'm using a SMC EZ Connect Wireless G PCI 108 Mbps card which has the
 AR5212 chip.

 The PC is located 3 meters away from the AP. I'm having problems with loss
 of connectivity and low speeds.

 If anyone knows a workaround for this bug, please let me know.
