Again: it is not mandatory. It's better to translate but if you don't 
want - like Mozilla did - we can also leave the name "Mageia" - I 
will adapt the translations in that way.

I'd say you go for what you and other Esperanto speakers experience as the 
most natural way to name it. As non speakers, it is hard for outsiders to 
meaningful comment one way or the other.
