I noticed an issue with this myself this morning, using the Mailplane 3 Beta - all key commands were disabled in the Mail menu. I had chat disabled but had not checked the 'Disable Google Chat' checkbox. With that checkbox unticked, the tab showing my account was stuck loading even though everything had loaded on the page. Once I ticked the checkbox and restarted Mailplane, the key commands are once again available.
Now, it bears mentioning - I'm using the beta since key commands regarding mail in Mailplane version 2.5.8 (#1690) stopped working altogether last week. Key commands such as Toggle Selection, Archive, Delete - they still are not working for me in that version. I'm using the system webkit in that version, and switching to the Mailplane webkit did not fix this issue. Let me know if you are able to fix that, since I would much rather use 2.5.8 - having to sign out from the beta so it doesn't store my password is much trickier than unticking "Store password in keychain" in the older version.
