What's the secret?...> I have Silverlight on my Mac and with OS 10.5.8 - that is, Leopard, not the latest version of the OS, which is 10.6/Snow Leopard - after an exceptionally long loading time I get an empty white window in Google Chrome and empty white windows with a narrow black horizontal bar at the bottom in Safari, Opera, Firefox 3.6.12 (current release) and 4.0b7 (latest beta), so you're not the only one for whom the site is broken on a Mac. MSFT hasn't released Silverlight for Linux but rebooting my usually-Linux laptop into Windows 7 I can report that after granting permission to the site to use more space (than would normally be allotted for a visit to a website? possibly for cache? it's a message I've never seen before), the site works in Firefox 3.6.12. The resolution of the page photos is very good but not spectacular, and the interface is fairly intuitive and really quite slick, with animations of the pages turning, a pinwheel that spins when you mouse over it which when clicked rotates the image, and similar attractive features. Note that page images take a while to load and appear unreadable until fully loaded. So unfortunately there doesn't appear to be a secret other than visiting the site in Windows; the Institut Cartografic's current implementation of Silverlight at the site seems to be not only plug-in specific but limited to that platform.
