Thanks for your reply Mat . . . I think.

The Arc? (e00) file I recieved was supposedly UTM 83, Zone 16
(Tennesee).

I translated the file the only way I know how, and with the help of
someone kind enough to offer their translator for download.   I used
the following:

ArcMap
A files converter program from ARC/INFO into MapInfo
v 1.04, 11 October 1995
Written by Brice Eycheni�

I re-projected to the format that was in place when I took over our
current mapdata, Lat/Long, NAD 27.  With other files, I had recieved,
this always worked pretty well.

As to your statement:

I'm sorry you're offended, and that you MISTAKENLY THINK I have no
repsect for the creator of the dataset. My desire and self demand for
accuracy in my own work, and respect for "others" is precisely why I
asked for assistance.

Perhaps I am taking your reply too literally and as a flame, if this
is true, please accept my appology.
