I have a data layer of the cenral US region and Canada together. they
are separate regions that I appended both table together into one. I
am trying to make a .01 nautical mile buffer, however, MI keeps
crapping out and locking up because Canada has too many small polys
making up its side of the data layer.
I also tried to do an erase/split to get rid of the US/Canadian border
but it creates a polygon inside the large one and I can only delete in
side the poly I created. Any suggestions for someone who is
frustrated with this.
