Forest,

With the well location and abstraction data that you have it would be best
to get a hydrogeologist to run a few groundwater models using a proper
groundwater modeling system. A model of the aquifer needs to be developed,
but this doesn't need to be an onerous task, as even a simple geological
model and use of typical hydrogeological parameters for the rocks forming
the model will give you some basis for seeing what is happening. The
performance of the model can also be assessed with time and improved if
necessary. This process would allow you to produce some predicted aquifer
responses for several different points in time with the information you
have.

The resulting models are easy to export in ASCII x,y,z format that can be
imported to Vertical Mapper for presentation and analysis (e.g. analysis of
drawdown rate by subtracting two VM grids from one another).

We do this frequently with great effect.
