Hari, the only thing I know about Tukachevsy is that in Deutcher's biography of Stalin he (D.) says that Tukachevsky actually tried to take out Stalin -- he was brave enough to see what Stalin was doing to his beloved Bolshevik Revolution and tried to stop him --- in other words, he didn't become a bowl of jelly whining about how he wanted to "confess his crimes" ---
(Preobrazhensky was another one who refused to "confess"....)
