I get it, the Holocaust is not important today even though it happened.

That is merely a subjective and ethnocentric view on my families history.
Perhaps you have a memory of your family as well.

Are we, the survivors, supposed to forget because it has not happened to your
family and mot in this moment, materially. Obviously not.

And in my case the non-existence of my family is of no concern to you, or other
Canadians in general it would seem.

As for the persistence and pervasiveness of Antisemitism in the Anglo-Saxon
political culture this dis-ease has infected even the Jewish assimilated
Canadians who also use the term ‘Jew’ even though it is a Nazi insult found on
the yellow badge star.

So none of all that is materiel and is filed away under parlour antisemitism.

Do not bother to consider being ostracized from academia since 1980 from York
University Department of Social and Political Thought as well as Political
Science. Something to do with being a Bundist who supported Palestine. However,
the Palestine Embassy did not object to my Identity and I worked as Attaché
politique for Abdullah Abdullah during the war of 1982-85 where I wrote the
documentary study on the Sabra & Shatila massacre. That was the prelude to the
war now on Gaza.

The only credibility or rationale for the subjectivity to which I am subjected
is the commonality of its shared heritage and reinforcing mechanisms of Anglo
assimilationism. No wonder the Québecois want to leave your domain. I agree.

‘’Pride’’, you speak of pride to a second-generation refugee Holocaust

Is it so difficult to recognize national oppression? That is equivalent to

The target was the Jewish working-class. Get it.

Rest assured, Abraham, that I'm not a Holocaust denier. While your parents were
Holocaust survivors, you cannot deny that you are a comfortable educated
Western professional who has likely not been exposed to more than the polite
“parlour antisemitism” of fools. Consequently, I’m not persuaded that your
vicarious self-identification with the Yiddish-speaking nation in Eastern
Europe is justified in that your conditions in no way resembles the oppression
experienced by that community and the tragic end which befell it.
