Thanks, Hari. A plausible thesis, and a very pessimistic one, no?  If this new 
form "tech monopoly capitalism" does lead to an inter-imperialist war, as you 
suggest, it will almost certainly doom us all. At least, when the Nazis came to 
power in 1933, the wishful expectation of the KPD and Comintern was "Nach 
Hitler, Uns".  It is hard today to imagine even the most subsistence form of 
socialism rising out of the ashes of a Third World War fought with nuclear and 
cyber weapons.

It goes without saying that we should all contribute what we can to prevent 
that catastrophe, but it is a race against time and a question of resources. 
The differences on the left (mirrored on this list) turn, as they always have, 
on an analysis of the period - most notably, the relationship of forces between 
labour and capital - and the contested programs and strategies for reviving 
mass revolutionary socialist parties which result from that.
