DEar Dr Ray Zimmerman, In the ACOPF equations we have the line_coductance G and line susceptance B, where G = r/(r^2+X^2) and B= - x / (r^2+x^2) where r and x are the series resistance and reactance (pu) respectively. Some other authors however, take B = x / (r^2 + x^2) ie. without the minus symbol in the beginning. May I ask, which one is used in the matpower code ?
