Well I can't edit the ticket so...
Basically the 3rd_party tool installer specifies specific versions of packages
when installing prerequisites. It then rpm force installs these packages.
This is really really really bad. For example it doesn't account for the fact
that I am running CentOS 6 not CentOS 5, but yet it pulls down CentOS 5
packages and force installs them.
This is potentially OS install destroying.
The tool first of all should not use specific versions of packages. It should
just use yum with the package name. Second, it should never force install. If
the rpm will not install, there is most likely a good reason.
