I think i got it working right at the moment. Cost me nearly a week to find the solution. At the engage server in config.properties I changed the parameter for "org.opencastproject.search.solr.dir" to NOT point to a folder on the mounted nfs-share but to a folder in the local engage server file system. It seems to work now, thanks to all for their help!
