Hi everybody,
I would imagine that 99% of the message traffic on this list is from newbies
wanting to know which Linux is best for their particular machine, so for
those of you who aren't interested in that, I'll tell you right now that
that's what I'm here to ask! :-)
I have a PowerMac 7500/100 that has been upgraded with a 604e/180 processor.
It has 48MB of RAM and two 500MB hard drives. I'd like to know which Linux
would run best on this machine, and particularly, which Linux is easiest for
a newbie to install, configure, and use.
The intended use for this machine is a workstation (surfing, e-mail, etc.).
