A 7500 for a firewall/router? That's overkill in my book since I'm
using my IIci to do that with NetBSD. 7500 would be a great machine
for an experimental box for using with Linux or NetBSD or both. My
Q800 is my NetBSD experiment box right now and it's running X Windows
with 40MB of RAM. I say try Linux and NetBSD to see which you like
and if you're new to UNIX to check out a introductory book on it from
your local library and if you're experienced with it try an advanced
book. HTH
