Instead of a virtual disk image there is now a virtual appliance image for Mayan. The new image can be found at the bottom of the downloads section of the website or by this direct link: http://www.mayan-edms.com/downloads/Mayan%20EDMS%20v0.13.ova.
The final file came much smaller too: 700MB uncompressed appliance image vs. 1GB compressed disk image, and setting it up is a breeze, just import and boot it up. There is also a small update and the IP address is now shown on the login prompt so no longer is login on needed to get the IP address of the appliance. Thanks for MGinstruct for the heads up on virtual appliances. VirtualBox appliance image This appliance file contains Ubuntu 12.10 with *Mayan EDMS*, LibreOffice, Tesseract, Unpaper and everything you need installed and ready to be used. The file is almost 700MB in size. Just download, import into VirtualBox and start it up, the IP address will be shown after it is up and running in the login prompt.
