http://www.electronista.com/articles/10/02/09/most.android.phones.shut.out/ It sounds like the Adobe Flash Player will only be (officially) available to people running Android 2.1+. > Also, will Apple be forced by the market > to support it? Maybe. Flash has been coupled with Maemo, Android 2.1+, and other mobile platforms, so at some point Apple might have to jump on board. > Can't we just say, "Steve Jobs is right - Flash is a can of worms and if > it's bad enough for Steve not to do, who are we to argue?" ;-) Can't we > access our inner two-year-olds and just say "NO!"?? Though we may wish Flash away, it looks like vendors who use Meego will want to deal with it one way or another. If the decision is to push all Flash support off to the vendors, that sounds reasonable, especially given the licensing situation of the proprietary player. --R _______________________________________________ MeeGo-dev mailing list [email protected] http://lists.meego.com/listinfo/meego-dev
